THE BEALE HANDBOOK

Tracks

Work through a workspace's security surfaces over successive epochs.

Coverage over time

A Research Track coordinates repeated work on the workspace surface map. The app-server stores track status, active session and surface, pass and epoch counts, and per-surface state. Each surface can record the current theory, distinct attacker paths, validation environment, evidence references, next action, and revisit timing.

Track status can be running, paused, waiting, complete, or stopped. The workspace Track view has controls to pause, resume, stop, and open the current session. Use the surface map to see coverage and blockers rather than treating an epoch summary as the entire research record.

  1. Define workspace scope and surfaces first.
  2. Start a Track from the workspace and choose the model, permissions, and target.
  3. Inspect surface progress and the active session. Pause or steer when a path needs operator input.
  4. Review linked memories, findings, runbooks, and reports before marking coverage complete.
